1/3 cup sugar
6 tablespoons plus 1-1/2 teaspoons water
1/3 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
12 drops neon green food coloring
1 bottle (2 liters) lemon-lime soda, chilled
2 pints vanilla ice cream
In a large saucepan, combine sugar and water. Cook and stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved; remove from the heat. Stir in milk and extract. Transfer to a bowl; cool to room temperature. Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
Just before serving, transfer milk mixture to a punch bowl. Stir in the food coloring and soda. Top with scoops of ice cream.
Yield: 4 quarts.

Pale Green Lemonade-Lime Punch
2 cans (6 0z) Frozen Lemonade (thawed)
½ Gallon Lime Sherbet
1 bottle Lemonade soda
2 bottles Sprite or Lemon/Lime Soda
Slice lemons and limes (for garnish)
Mint leaves (for garnish)
Maraschino Cherries (as desired for garnish)
Ice cubes (as desired)
In a large punch bowl, empty the cans of juice and ice cubes. Scoop out the sherbet. Carefully pour the sodas over the sherbet. Add mint leaves and sliced lemons and limes for to garnish.
***Can use this for St. Paddy’s Day as well as baby showers and birthdays.
I-Don’t–Want-to-Hassle Green Punch
½ gallon Lime Sherbet
1 2-liter bottle Sprite
In a punch bowl, throw in the sherbet.
Pour Sprite over the sherbet.
Toss in a ice cubes.
